As one of the very few niche firms immersed in the base industries responsible for maintaining our nations built infrastructure, environment, and manufacturing/supply chain, we are uniquely suited to supporting you during these uncertain times.
We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 Pandemic and have taken precautionary measures to ensure the ongoing health and safety of our staff, as well as ensuring that service is uninterrupted to our clients and partners.
While it may seem that business operations and employment efforts have slowed (specifically in hospitality/entertainment and many service sectors), our experience, having followed other issues like Ebola deployments and supported natural disasters recovery efforts with personnel, has taught us that it is even more critical for foundational businesses to function in a crisis. Already, we are being inundated with potential project requests and crisis staffing resources to meet the current challenge. We also expect that the government will be passing an infrastructure and essential business stimulation package in the days ahead.
As one of the very few niche firms immersed in the base industries responsible for maintaining our nations built infrastructure, environment, and manufacturing/supply chain, we are uniquely suited to support you during these uncertain times. We were aware of the virus early on from impact to our international clientele in Asia and have followed it closely since last year. Perhaps, raising the alarm a bit too vocally at times during the early evolution of the disease, which in retrospect now proved less paranoid than forward-thinking. As you may recall, we listed Pandemic as one of our Top Ten Global Concerns facing the world for crisis with other issues like Perfluorooctanesulfonic Acid (PFOS) contamination, improperly installed Fracking wells, and the impacts to the world’s oceans. So our systems have been built for independent and remote/virtual work for several years.
Our operation is functioning business as usual, even if the environment isn’t. We are here for you.
As Albert Camus themed in The Plague, we each have a role to play in support of the greater good in times of crisis. At Sequence, we serve in industries where there is a general shortage of technical, STEM, and trades personnel here in the states. With each day, that labor base continues to erode with aging professional staff and retiring technical expertise. Coronavirus (COVID-19) only serves to impact that demographic further.
In times like this, knowledge is critical.
The more you know, the better you can provide for the safety of your employees, adapt to changing market factors, and endure the economic crisis. This in mind, our staff assembled the following informational resources. These may or may not be useful in your efforts, but each is of a theme with topics related to issues we hear our clients and partners discuss daily. We are in a unique position to field this information as our clientele ranges from small and independent businesses to equity investment firms and larger corporate concerns both domestically and internationally. They talk, we listen and learn.
We launched this site as a resource page for you here at www.covidbizresources.com.
It is a topical site with a variety of resources ranging from government contacts, disaster funding details, labor, and medical information to crisis strategy thinking and topical articles that may be of interest. We apologize if it initially loads a bit slowly, it had 100,000 page views nearly immediately upon launch. It is meant solely as a resource for our clients and partners with topics like (Health, Health Systems, COVID-19 Medical Videos, Banking/Financial, Media, Govt. Response, Labor/OSHA, Crisis Management, CARES Act, SBA Programs, Credit and Insurance). With luck, there will be some useful information for you or that you can use or perhaps pass on to vendors or suppliers as we all deal with the impacts of COVID-19. Sequence staff will continue to update the content for the next few weeks. And, if you would like more on a particular topic, feel free to request that we do some work to finding materials related to subject.
There are a vast number of resources available with regard to COVID-19; with this site, we are striving to streamline some of what we consider to be more notable for easy reference. The disclaimer to this is that we do not represent the information provided as being accurate; you must vet resources yourself. Especially, in the face of a disease that can potentially cause serious sickness or even death. Events are transpiring quickly, and understanding of the virus continues to evolve.
For the past weeks, we have been reaching out to all our clientele, partners, and vendors/suppliers. Even if we haven’t spoken, know that we are here for you and working away. We understand that this will be a trying time, but we will weather the storm with you as we have other international crises over our past 25+ years in business.
If there is anything we can do to help you do not hesitate to reach out to us – even if that is just to talk or brainstorm.
